Therefore, in this study, we assessed the accuracy and precision of the Pain Chek infant tool, together with the sensitivity and specificity for different cutoff scores using receiver operator characteristic (ROC) analysis. Clinician comprehensibility was evaluated using a standardized questionnaire. Additional feasibility aspects were evaluated based on comparison with currently available observational pain assessment tools for use in infants with procedural pain.
