Participants were 97% (n=100) White, 73% (n=75) female, with an average age of 64.2 (SD 7.6) years. All participants were assigned a personal health coach with sessions taking place remotely through monthly videoconferences and weekly asynchronous chat messages. The intervention focused on improving brain health through the following lifestyle domains and their associated risk factors: nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, social engagement, and cognitive activity.

After prestudy attrition and adjusting the data set for incomplete testing data, a final sample of 191 adults (female: n=138; male: n=53) was analyzed. The average age of the sample was 62.2 (SD 8.27) years. Further descriptive statistics are presented in Table 1.

All tests were z-transformed using the performance means and standard deviations of clinically normal older adults (n=256, age range: 61-90 years) [24,25]. All four z-transformed variables were averaged together to produce a PACC composite score, with higher scores indicating better performance.
