The first goal of this study was to examine the correlation between scores obtained from the Brain Check standard battery of cognitive assessments (BC-Assess), a digital cognitive assessment, and scores obtained from the DSRS, a global staging scale. The second goal of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of using the BC-Assess score to predict dementia stage delineated by the DSRS score.

Brain Check Sport is a computerized neurocognitive test available on i Pad, i Phone, or a desktop browser and was previously validated for its diagnostic accuracy for the detection of concussion [22]. Brain Check Memory is a modified version of this program that targets dementia-related cognitive decline. Brain Check Memory functions as an app that can be downloaded from the Apple Store and accessed via password-protected log-in.
