Perspectives of Adolescents and Young Adults With Inflammatory Bowel Disease on a Biopsychosocial Transition Intervention: Qualitative Interview Study

Perspectives of Adolescents and Young Adults With Inflammatory Bowel Disease on a Biopsychosocial Transition Intervention: Qualitative Interview Study

At the end of the day, my mother has to stop bringing me to the appointments, I can't bring her all the time, right? Because it’s that independent thing that comes in. So I think it’s just a learning experience about myself, learning about where I am with my health, knowing everything that I need to know for myself so I don't have to depend on anybody else to know it for me.

Participants attending one of the 50 clinics allocated to the intervention group received targeted BCC messages on their registered mobile phones at programmed intervals during the 14-day period in which the e-voucher was active. Messages contained health promotion and sensitization information on the importance of malaria prevention and LLIN use during pregnancy, in addition to reminders to redeem the e-voucher for an LLIN at a registered retailer (Textbox 1).

Weighted Blankets for Agitation in Hospitalized Patients with Dementia: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

The primary outcome of the CMAI-O score will be described at each of the 5 time points (baseline, day 1, day 2, day 3, and day 72 follow-up). A linear mixed effects model with time as a random effect will be used to analyze changes in the CMAI-O score over time. Both the unadjusted and an adjusted model with age, sex, and unit type as covariates will be reported. Age and sex were included as covariates as they are standard demographic factors that can influence behavioral outcomes.

Screening Workers for Occupational Exposure to Respirable Crystalline Silica: Development and Usability of an Electronic Data Capture Tool

Screening Workers for Occupational Exposure to Respirable Crystalline Silica: Development and Usability of an Electronic Data Capture Tool

One worker had worn his respirator for 6 hours out of an 8-hour shift (approximately 75%), but had estimated that he wore it for 35% of the day. One worker commented that he wore his respirator all day, regardless of the task, whilst another pointed out that each job was different, with some jobs being “perfect” (ie, not requiring any adjustments), whereas others required adjustments onsite, adding to the difficulty of responding to this question accurately.

Practicality of the My Baby Now App for Fathers by Fathers: Qualitative Case Study

(F6) I do have an app that at a certain time every day is going to send me a message and you get used to it. (F10) I've used one [an app], it did tell you what stage your baby's at, like okay, you’re at week five, so you may notice this behaviour. (F2) They're absolutely great, there’s a dad's one on Facebook. I like to know what other dads find challenging or have questions about. (F9) There's a Facebook page - Advice for Dads.
