Disease-specific interventions also require individual clinics or specialists to deliver treatment, while a transdiagnostic intervention could be delivered in a centralized manner (eg, through referrals from different specialties within a health system) and by a mental health provider who does not need to have expertise in any 1 particular health condition.

Impact of Medical Conditions and Area Deprivation on Fundraising Success in Online Crowdfunding: Cross-Sectional Study

Impact of Medical Conditions and Area Deprivation on Fundraising Success in Online Crowdfunding: Cross-Sectional Study

To evaluate the impact on the number of donations received, GLMs using Poisson and negative binomial distributions were compared, and the negative binomial model was selected on the basis of a significant likelihood ratio test. The impact on the mean donation amount was evaluated using a GLM with a gamma distribution. Both models used a logarithm link function, and the covariates were identical to the model for the amount raised described above.

Examining the Dose-Response Effects of Mindfulness Meditation Interventions on Well-Being: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Additional screening measures will include (1) the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale, for anxiety and depressive symptoms; (2) a single-item measure of substance use within the last year that, if any item is endorsed, will trigger a more detailed drug and alcohol screening questionnaire; and (3) a single-item measure of trauma that, if endorsed, will trigger a more detailed trauma screening questionnaire.

In these studies, eligible participants in the intervention arms received either pillboxes or medication labels (similar to “99 DOTS” [10]), with the latter requiring participants to send a toll-free SMS text message each time treatment was taken. These DATs were integrated into a digital adherence platform, where participants’ digital engagement with the DATs (pillbox opened/SMS text messages sent) served as a proxy indicator of treatment adherence.

Feasibility of a Mental Health App Intervention for Emergency Service Workers and Volunteers: Single-Arm Pilot Study

Build Back Better was developed by a multidisciplinary team with content adapted from a previously developed app, Head Gear, designed to prevent depression and anxiety and improve well-being among workers in male-dominated industries [18,22]. A randomized controlled trial of Head Gear with a large sample of workers showed that the app was effective in the prevention of depression and anxiety, as well as improving a range of MH and work-related outcomes [24,25].
