The Ways of Using Social Media for Health Promotion Among Adolescents: Qualitative Interview and Focus Group Study

The researchers addressed this by encouraging participants to discuss both positive and negative aspects of Instagram, ensuring a balanced perspective. The interviews and focus groups were conducted between January and February 2022 by author EZ and a team of 4 researchers with backgrounds in psychology. The team comprised 3 undergraduate students and 1 individual with a Bachelor’s degree.

Information Needs for Opioid Use Disorder Treatment Using Buprenorphine Product: Qualitative Analysis of Suboxone-Focused Reddit Data

Information Needs for Opioid Use Disorder Treatment Using Buprenorphine Product: Qualitative Analysis of Suboxone-Focused Reddit Data

To develop a more comprehensive understanding of these challenges, it is essential to analyze posts that involve multiple, overlapping themes and reflect the complexity of real-world experiences. We address this research gap by proposing a theme-driven framework that provides a labeled dataset. A comprehensive analysis is performed on this dataset, covering multiple themes of TINs and capturing Reddit post data from thousands of affected individuals.

Developing Infrastructure to Realize the Value of Patient-Generated Health Data in a Large Integrated Health Care System: The Veterans Health Administration Experience

Developing Infrastructure to Realize the Value of Patient-Generated Health Data in a Large Integrated Health Care System: The Veterans Health Administration Experience

As the PGHD database evolves and lessons are learned from researchers, field testers, and pilot projects, the goal will be to integrate PGHD into fundamental clinical workflows and build a knowledge base for where integration provides the greatest value. Data collected in the PGHD database are guided by a series of VHA policy and strategy documents, the development of which was overseen by the Office of Connected Care [9].

Usage of a Multipurpose mHealth App Among Adults With Sickle Cell Disease: Randomized Controlled Trial

We conducted a feasibility randomized controlled trial to determine the acceptability of our m Health app [14]. A multipurpose m Health app can allow patients to monitor and track their pain, but additional features can increase app usage and engagement in their disease.

Scaling a Brief Digital Well-Being Intervention (the Big Joy Project) and Sociodemographic Moderators: Single-Group Pre-Post Study

Scaling a Brief Digital Well-Being Intervention (the Big Joy Project) and Sociodemographic Moderators: Single-Group Pre-Post Study

In this paper, we test a brief, web-based well-being intervention, the Big Joy Project, on a large global sample to examine the impact of sociodemographic factors. Emotional well-being is a multidimensional composite that includes both the quality of momentary experiences and broader life judgments [7]. Emotional well-being is intimately associated with mental and physical health [4,5,11,12].

Personal Health Record Software for Neuroendocrine Tumors: Patient-Centered Design Approach

Personal Health Record Software for Neuroendocrine Tumors: Patient-Centered Design Approach

In order for PHR software to successfully play a data gathering role for research studies it needs to provide a valuable service to patients, otherwise patients are less likely to use it [9,13]. Ideally, PHR software used for research studies would follow a model similar to that followed by free online services: users get a valuable service in exchange for their personal data.

Furthermore, it is a particularly [17] robust method of data capture given that it enables investigators to account for contextual and environmental factors, which are typical limitations of traditional research methodologies that most frequently capture functioning in a lab at a single time point, without any external distractions [18,19].

Longitudinal Digital Phenotyping of Multiple Sclerosis Severity Using Passively Sensed Behaviors and Ecological Momentary Assessments: Real-World Evaluation

Longitudinal Digital Phenotyping of Multiple Sclerosis Severity Using Passively Sensed Behaviors and Ecological Momentary Assessments: Real-World Evaluation

Action features represent a patient’s behaviors during the period immediately preceding a symptom assessment (eg, the preceding 2 or 4 weeks), while context features capture behaviors from an earlier period, providing a historical context for interpreting or contextualizing the patient’s more recent behavioral patterns.

Co-Designing an Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Mobile App for Early Childhood Education Teachers' Professional Development: Community-Based Participatory Research Approach

Co-Designing an Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Mobile App for Early Childhood Education Teachers' Professional Development: Community-Based Participatory Research Approach

ECE teachers in high-quality ECE programs can act as a protective factor by supporting young children’s burgeoning social-emotional development, thus preventing challenging behaviors [1,5]. Moreover, enhancing young children’s social-emotional development is linked with their school readiness, making a focus on this aspect of children’s development a mechanism for eliminating disparities [1].
