During the project, participants documented 19 clinical situations using teleconsultation and 14 clinical situations without teleconsultation. According to the organization’s previous year’s statistics regarding on-call telephone services, the number of clinical situations remains similar year over year. This attests to the stability of the environment, providing an appropriate context to study the implementation of teleconsultation.

Patients received a link via email both 1 day prior and again a few minutes before their appointment. Teleconsultations could be carried out with the patient alone or in the company of a primary caregiver.
