Association Between Psychosocial Characteristics and eHealth Literacy: Cross-Sectional Study of Hybrid Secondary Prevention in Mental Health

Association Between Psychosocial Characteristics and eHealth Literacy: Cross-Sectional Study of Hybrid Secondary Prevention in Mental Health

Psychosocial characteristics were assessed using validated instruments and categorized into psychosocial burden and resources. Psychosocial burden was measured using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale with 21 Items (DASS-21), which includes subscales for depression, anxiety, and stress [49,50]. In addition, the Work Ability Index (WAI) was used to assess participants’ self-reported work ability in relation to health and work demands, with lower scores indicating greater psychosocial burden [51].

A Tailored mHealth Intervention for Improving Antenatal Care Seeking and Its Determinants Among Pregnant Adolescent Girls and Young Women in South Africa: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

We conducted a pilot 2-arm RCT with a pre-post design (registered at the Pan African Clinical Trial Registry with trial number PACTR201912734889796).

Development of a Novel Web-Based Intervention Targeting Pain-Related Outcomes in Individuals With Chronic Orofacial Pain: Protocol for a Mixed Methods Study

Although the etiological aspects of COP are heterogeneous, COP conditions are unified by a psychosocial profile of substantial maladaptive coping (eg, pain-related fear, pain catastrophizing) [7-9], pain interference, and emotional distress (eg, depression, anxiety) [3,4,10-14], which worsen each other over time [15,16].

Investigating Experiences With Scarring Among Transgender and Gender Diverse People: Mixed Methods Study

Some TGD people see their scars as a physical representation of their resilience and authentic journey, while for other TGD people, scarring presents a psychosocial burden. Effectiveness of an Innovative Mobile-Based Perioperative Care Program for Women Undergoing Breast Cancer Surgery (iCareBreast): Randomized Controlled Trial

Effectiveness of an Innovative Mobile-Based Perioperative Care Program for Women Undergoing Breast Cancer Surgery (iCareBreast): Randomized Controlled Trial

Given the high prevalence of breast cancer, increasing survival rates, and the cancer impact on psychological well-being and HR-Qo L, various psychosocial interventions have been developed to support women in coping with the illness. Evidence suggests that effective psychosocial interventions can reduce psychological distress and facilitate adjustment by enhancing cancer-related knowledge, coping skills, and emotional expression [16].

Psychological eHealth Interventions for Patients With Cardiovascular Diseases: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Psychological eHealth Interventions for Patients With Cardiovascular Diseases: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Specific areas such as psychoeducation [33,35] or the psychosocial aspects of implantable cardioverter defibrillators [38] were the focus of some interventions. Additionally, certain programs integrated additional therapeutic methods, including interpersonal therapy [37] or mindfulness [24]. The interventions used a variety of platforms, from multimedia supports to telemonitoring devices and expert systems for automated guidance.

Understanding the Association Between Home Broadband Connection and Well-Being Among Middle-Aged and Older Adults in China: Nationally Representative Panel Data Study

However, we are not aware of any recently published research on home broadband connection and its impact on the well-being and psychosocial outcomes among older people. This gap is critical for 3 reasons. First, broadband availability is associated with greater frequency of internet use and more engagement with internet activities [10]. Second, older adults showed higher preferences for home care [30].
