Internet-Delivered Psychological Treatment for Parents With Health Anxiety by Proxy: Replicated Randomized Single-Case Experimental Design

Therefore, our research group has developed PROXY, the first internet-delivered psychological treatment program specifically designed for HA by proxy [32]. This study aims to conduct an initial assessment of the effect and feasibility of the new internet-delivered psychological treatment program PROXY [32] for parents with HA by proxy. Single-case experimental design (SCED) was used for this first testing of PROXY as the prevalence of HA by proxy is still unknown.

A Chatbot-Based Version of a World Health Organization–Validated Intervention (Self-Help Plus) for Stress Management in Pregnant Women: Protocol for a Usability Study

How a woman adapts to these changes can affect her quality of life (Qo L) and psychological well-being. The literature highlights that various psychological symptoms can be commonly experienced during pregnancy, ranging from anxiety, stress, and depression [5-9]. To date, psychoeducational interventions that promote women’s psychological well-being during pregnancy are scarce and tend to focus primarily on subgroups of women with psychiatric symptomatology, such as perinatal depressive disorder [5,10].

Clinical, Psychological, Physiological, and Technical Parameters and Their Relationship With Digital Tool Use During Cardiac Rehabilitation: Comparison and Correlation Study

Many current psychological models of health behavior, such as the Health Action Process Approach (HAPA), place motivation and resulting intentions (motivational phase) as a prerequisites of health behavior engagement, distinguishing it from a second, volitional phase, which translates intentions into actual behavior [9]. In the motivational phase, the HAPA proposes risk perception and outcome expectancy as determinants of intentions.

Psychological eHealth Interventions for Patients With Cardiovascular Diseases: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Psychological eHealth Interventions for Patients With Cardiovascular Diseases: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

The interplay between cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and psychological distress, including stress, anxiety, and depression, presents a profound challenge in medical care [1]. Notably, approximately 40% of patients with CVDs experience these psychological symptoms [2,3], which not only impair their quality of life but also double their risk of severe cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction, stroke, hospitalization, and premature death compared to those without such psychological disorders [4,5].

Posttraumatic Growth Among Suicide-Loss Survivors: Protocol for an Updated Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Posttraumatic Growth Among Suicide-Loss Survivors: Protocol for an Updated Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

This is, of course, not to say that PTG is always the result of trauma, but rather, psychological suffering allows the opportunity for a person to grow and for new meaning to flourish in the face of trauma. An inverted U-shaped curve best describes the relationship between the developments of PTG—both too much and too little suffering are detrimental to the development of PTG [12,13].
