Assessing Preparedness for Self-Management of Oral Anticoagulation in Adults With the PERSONAE Scale: Protocol for a Development and Validation Study

While self-monitoring and self-management approaches have garnered strong evidence for their effectiveness and cost-effectiveness, a Cochrane review highlighted the need for further research into factors influencing individuals’ preparedness for self-testing [8]. These factors include both psychological preparedness and preparedness in terms of objective equipment.

Evaluating Whether Nonimmersion Virtual Reality Simulation Training Improves Nursing Competency in Isolation Wards: Randomized Controlled Trial

Evaluating Whether Nonimmersion Virtual Reality Simulation Training Improves Nursing Competency in Isolation Wards: Randomized Controlled Trial

The training and support aimed to help nurses acclimate to the work environment before entering the isolation area, thus reducing stress and anxiety stemming from unfamiliar surroundings, enhancing preparedness and teamwork abilities, and contributing to a more efficient response. However, studies on related topics remain relatively scarce.

Competence and Training Needs in Infectious Disease Emergency Response Among Chinese Nurses: Cross-Sectional Study

Competence and Training Needs in Infectious Disease Emergency Response Among Chinese Nurses: Cross-Sectional Study

Previous studies indicate deficiencies in nurses’ preparedness and response to public health emergencies, including a lack of emergency knowledge and inadequate crisis awareness [6,7]. Core competencies in disaster preparedness among nursing personnel and staffing shortages are deemed primary factors influencing the effectiveness of disaster response [8-10].

A Community Mental Health Integrated Disaster Preparedness Intervention for Bushfire Recovery in Rural Australian Communities: Protocol for a Multimethods Feasibility and Acceptability Pilot Study

Community-based initiatives that encourage collective involvement in mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery can build resilience to natural hazards. It is preferable for local community leaders to collaborate with community members in developing local preparedness plans and related initiatives, collectively investing in resilience building [25].

Social and Ethical Implications of Digital Crisis Technologies: Case Study of Pandemic Simulation Models During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Social and Ethical Implications of Digital Crisis Technologies: Case Study of Pandemic Simulation Models During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Those experiences with limited control capabilities have paved the way for a security strategy of preparedness that has prevailed especially in the field of global public health where gaining importance of the “precautionary principle” can be observed. In the same breath, different modes of resilience gained attraction, especially with regard to the emergence of preparedness practices and strategies that are often technological in nature [9].

Intersection of Perceived COVID-19 Risk, Preparedness, and Preventive Health Behaviors: Latent Class Segmentation Analysis

Intersection of Perceived COVID-19 Risk, Preparedness, and Preventive Health Behaviors: Latent Class Segmentation Analysis

Using the chi-square test, we conducted univariable analyses of measures of interest, namely, risk perception for COVID-19 outbreaks, KAP, participants’ level of preparedness, misconceptions, and the COVID-19 information gap. To examine the relationships between KAP indices by self-perceived COVID-19 risk, preparedness, and information (gap), we conducted a linear regression analysis with a density contour overlay to show the potential patterns (clusters) within the measures.
