A review found that 83 technologies were being implemented into 26 types of wander management devices, with the most common being electronic tracking devices—also known as locators, monitors, or surveillance devices [14]. Electronic tracking devices are technological artifacts that facilitate the monitoring, locating, or logging of a person with dementia’s temporal location.
