Navigating Visibility on Weibo Among People Living With HIV: Qualitative Study

Navigating Visibility on Weibo Among People Living With HIV: Qualitative Study

There is a close relationship between visibility and empowerment, forming a crucial perspective in empowerment research [19]. Recognition affirms human identity, making visibility a key political issue. Invisibility denies recognition in political philosophy, while being seen is essential for gaining voice and acknowledgment [14]. Visibility acts as political capital [20] and as a ladder to publicness [21], empowering individuals as communicative agents who shape public life [22].

Empowering Community Health Workers With Scripted Medicine: Design Science Research Study

Structural empowerment is achieved by providing employees access to information, resources, support, and opportunities [21,22].
