The PANDEM-Source module functions as a service with an API providing relevant and preprocessed data to the persistence layer of the dashboard. Data are then processed, exposed through a specific API, and made accessible to the front-end of the dashboard, as well as other interested data publishers (Figure 2).

Development, Implementation, and Evaluation Methods for Dashboards in Health Care: Scoping Review

Dashboard purpose definitions from study codebooka. a Definitions for the most commonly reported dashboard purposes are displayed here. All codebook definitions are reported in Multimedia Appendix 1. Due to the large number of categories for dashboard purposes and end users, we created larger super-categories for these domains so data could be summarized at a higher level.

These data feed the dashboard. The experimentation period was from June 1, 2021, to September 30, 2021. In addition, for clinical relevance, another dashboard was created involving the prescription of medication and genotyping during the same hospitalization day, at the request of pharmacologists. This was done and extracted from data between January 1, 2019, and September 30, 2021, to ensure a sufficient number of patients.

All data entered into the ZM app are collated on a central web-based dashboard, which supervisors can use to monitor progress, identify defaulters, and take corrective action to achieve targets. The decision support system (DSS) uses a built-in algorithm to automatically calculate which vaccine is to be administered based on the child’s date of birth and immunization history. This minimizes the chance of missed immunization and enables the vaccinators to provide age-appropriate and timely immunization.

Quality, Usability, and Trust Challenges to Effective Data Use in the Deployment and Use of the Bangladesh Nutrition Information System Dashboard: Qualitative Study

Further, 1 of NIPU’s developments was the Mukto dashboard—which is a free, open-access platform to view nutrition-related performance indicators at the national, district, and subdistrict levels [16]. However, despite these efforts and advancements, the research agenda around the effective use of nutrition data to guide key priorities and decisions in Bangladesh remains relatively nascent.

Advancing Public Health Surveillance in Child Care Centers: Stakeholder-Informed Redesign and User Satisfaction Evaluation of the MCRISP Network

CCPs had a jointly developed custom health dashboard for their center and region (Figure 1 B). More advanced dashboards were made for users working in public health and were easily developed with the new enhancements (Figure 1 C). (A) Features implemented in the Michigan Child Care Related Infection Surveillance Program (MCRISP) website, technologies used to create those features, and the main use cases. (B) Child care provider homepage displays a customized visualization.

Creation of an Automated and Comprehensive Resident Progress System for Residents and to Save Hours of Faculty Time: Mixed Methods Study

Each resident’s progress dashboard takes the form of one Google Sheets workbook with a front page (Figure 2) and 17 standardized additional tabs for each resident. Within the dashboard, there is a total of 22 components represented across 3 categories (Table 1). A full example dashboard is provided in Multimedia Appendix 1. Google Forms are used to structure all evaluation responses and any other structured inputs, such as conference attendance, conference feedback, etc.
