I thought it was very, very well done, um, very emotional in terms of, you know, the impact that it brings ’cause they’re all singing together but singing separately. And it’s amazing that that software is, is present and available for us all to use and utilize. And, and, uh, it’s, it’s a beautiful thing.

Participants reported that they would like appointment minder to incorporate a comment section where, before their appointments, participants could write down notes and questions that they would like to ask their health providers:
You need to prepare yourself to ask the doctor anything you need...You should ask your doctor about medication, medication side effects, you should ask your doctor about, you know, minor aches and pains.

On the item, “How likely are you to refer a friend/colleague to Please Pr EPMe.org?” 75 (88.2%) responded “very likely” or “likely.” On the item, “Please Pr EPMe helped me make decisions about my HIV prevention, or helped me to help others around their HIV-prevention needs,” 67 people (78.8%) responded “agree” or “strongly agree.”
Of 515 people who were sent the 14-Day Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Follow-up Survey, 25 (4.9%) responded.

Sample interview questions include “In a typical day, what do you use your mobile phone to do,” “What does aging mean to you,” “What does living with HIV mean to you,” and “How do you use your mobile phone in your health care?” Each interview lasted approximately 1.5 hours and was audiotaped and transcribed for analysis. All study procedures and materials were approved by the lead author’s institutional human research review board.
