e-Learning and Web-Based Tools for Psychosocial Interventions Addressing Neuropsychiatric Symptoms of Dementia During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Tokyo, Japan: Quasi-Experimental Study

The e-learning course aimed to replace the face-to-face training course to avoid group gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Furthermore, this study evaluated the feasibility and efficacy of the e-learning course combined with a web-based tool in addressing neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia. We hypothesized that the e-learning course would sustain the efficacy in reducing neuropsychiatric symptoms because the interventions include discussions with a multidisciplinary discussion team.
