Acute bronchitis was the single LRTI with the highest odds of presentation in boys up to the age of 15 years (Table 1). The greater ORs of boys attending were as follows: 1.59 (95% CI 1.35-1.87, P Boys younger than 15 years had greater odds of presenting with LRTI and ILI, although much of this effect was due to acute bronchitis (Figure 2).
