Such training has resulted in a reduction in energy intake and weight loss in adults, which, importantly, was maintained at the 6-month follow-up in a study by Lawrence et al [2]. In another study, a greater number of healthy snack foods were selected by children following such training [3], but to date, Food T has not been trialed to support children’s snack food choices in a pediatric weight management context.
