Web-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression Among Homebound Older Adults: Development and Usability Study

Patients receive psychoeducational materials through a web platform or a dedicated app and are exposed to the same core components as conventional CBT (eg, behavioral activation and cognitive restructuring). At a reduced marginal cost, i CBT can be used repeatedly with different patients without losing its therapeutic power, making it particularly useful for reducing health disparities in underresourced settings [7].
