The German Version of the Mobile App Rating Scale (MARS-G): Development and Validation Study
The MARS-G was validated within the framework of a study on the quality of apps targeting anxiety (E M Messner et al, unpublished data, 2020). Apps were identified using the following search terms: anxiety, fears, anxiety attack, anxious, anxiousness, anxiety disorder, fear, dread, fearful, panic, panic attacks, worry, and worries. Each search term was provided separately, as no truncation or use of logic operators (AND, OR, and NOT) was possible in the Google Play Store and i OS Store.
