Authors ZKY and C Sanders met with the PPIE group quarterly to discuss the different aspects of the study, such as the design of participant information sheets, interview and focus group topic guides, and communication materials. They also explained the use of health data to the PPIE group and worked together with them to discuss and refine emerging findings from the interviews and focus groups. A detailed paper focusing on the distinct PPIE aspects will be reported separately.
