In their case study, Astell et al [13] concluded that the participant’s successful adoption of several forms of new technology was achieved because of the high level of appropriate training and support delivered by the researcher, which will not always be feasible. Many of the articles described the use of integrated prompts within their software to direct or regain the attention of the user, although the outcomes are varied.
