Capturing the broadest spectrum of outcomes, the assessment revealed that the Holm and Cordoba Urinary Tract Infection Score (HCUTI) [12] is a promising tool that warrants further validation (COSMIN category B). The HCUTI comprises 43 items on 3 subscales measuring the following aspects over a 7-day period: symptom severity (18 items), bothersomeness (18 items), and impact on daily activities (7 items). All items are rated on a 4-point Likert scale ranging from 1=none to 4=a lot.
