Community-Based Organizations’ Approaches to Recruitment and Retention for a Digital HIV Prevention Intervention for Young Men Who Have Sex With Men: A Mixed Methods Study

Pragmatic trials “emphasize a balance between internal and external validity” [16]. In other words, such trials emphasize a balance between the scientific rigor, generalizability, and implementation of an intervention in a way that reflects the real circumstances in which it would otherwise be implemented outside a trial (eg, staff or organizational capacity to make adaptations when needed [17]).

Faculty Retreats in Academic Medicine: Tutorial

Faculty Retreats in Academic Medicine: Tutorial

Retreat goals can include long-term objectives, but given time constraints, the retreat may only be a start or a contributing component to that objective. Aligning the retreat content with long-term objectives can be effective from a strategic planning perspective. Finally, focus on a manageable number of objectives to avoid overwhelming participants; consider what is feasible in the retreat time allotted.

Prevalence and Risk Factors of Metabolic Dysfunction–Associated Steatotic Liver Disease in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at a Tertiary Center in Saudi Arabia: Cross-Sectional Questionnaire Study

Prevalence and Risk Factors of Metabolic Dysfunction–Associated Steatotic Liver Disease in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at a Tertiary Center in Saudi Arabia: Cross-Sectional Questionnaire Study

The sample size was calculated using the formula z∝/1(P)(1−P) 2 d2, where z=1.96 (corresponding to a 95% CI value) and the P (the reported prevalence of MASLD among patients with type 2 diabetes in a study conducted in Abha, Saudi Arabia, in 2018) is 72.7% [14]. While the margin of error was indicated as 5%, the final sample size was 309.72. To control for the low response rate, the sample size was increased by 10%.

Effectiveness of Text Message Outreach to Promote Enrollment in a Government Food Assistance Program: Pilot Randomized Trial

Effectiveness of Text Message Outreach to Promote Enrollment in a Government Food Assistance Program: Pilot Randomized Trial

Text message outreach may offer a low-cost, scalable approach to encourage WIC enrollment among eligible SNAP-participating households [2]. No studies have evaluated impacts of such outreach in American Indian populations. This study evaluated a pilot randomized text message intervention aimed at increasing enrollment in the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Inc. (ITCA) WIC program.

Governing AI in Mental Health: 50-State Legislative Review

However, federal authority in this space is constrained by the specific mandates and domains of each agency or statute, a fuller discussion of which can be found in studies by Kahane et al [14,15]. As a result, many MH-AI tools fall into regulatory gray zones or remain exempt from rules governing other medical technologies, particularly so-called “wellness” products and other technologies not specifically marketed as medical or therapy products [7,14-17].

Wearable Artificial Intelligence for Epilepsy: Scoping Review

Third, a significant portion of previous studies narrowly focused on a particular data type, predominantly EEG [7,12,13]. Fourth, the majority of these studies were conventional literature reviews rather than more comprehensive scoping or systematic reviews [7,9,10,12,13]. Lastly, the search strategies employed in these reviews often overlooked key databases such as CINAHL, Psyc INFO, Scopus, IEEE, and the ACM digital library [6,8,10,11].

Experiences of Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment Across Cancer Types: Qualitative Systematic Review

Experiences of Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment Across Cancer Types: Qualitative Systematic Review

People would mention a conversation that we had maybe a week ago, a month ago; sometimes I wouldn’t remember talking to that person at all. People with cancer often reported struggling to recall recent conversations despite being prompted by others. This reflects a broader difficulty with retaining new information and maintaining social relationships. They also often frequently mentioned a noticeable decline in memory compared with their previous abilities.

Impact of Detailed Versus Generic Instructions on Fine-Tuned Language Models for Patient Discharge Instructions Generation: Comparative Statistical Analysis

Impact of Detailed Versus Generic Instructions on Fine-Tuned Language Models for Patient Discharge Instructions Generation: Comparative Statistical Analysis

According to a recent scoping review by Meng et al [7], large language models (LLMs) have been actively explored in several areas of medicine, including clinical documentation support. The review, which analyzed over 550 studies, found that LLMs have the potential to reduce clinician workload and streamline routine writing tasks.
