They have an increased risk of perinatal or long-term complications, such as fetal asphyxia, neurodevelopmental disabilities, cardiovascular disease, and type 2 diabetes, compared with normally grown fetuses [6,7]. It is often accompanied by preeclampsia, which may result in increased perinatal mortality. Thus the early identification and intervention of FGR are crucial for improving its perinatal outcomes.

Second, while the year-long study minimized temporal bias, variations in physician behavior across shifts, differing workloads, or individual factors such as system familiarity and clinical preferences were not specifically analyzed. Additionally, the gradual adoption of Med Guard across participating physicians may have introduced selection bias, as early adopters may differ in prescribing behavior or familiarity with clinical decision support systems compared with those who joined later.

This common disorder can have a negative impact on the quality of life of patients and exacerbate their economic burden, particularly in long-term or severe cases [13-16].
Numerous studies have demonstrated that UDD may be associated with chronic conditions (such as hypertension, diabetes, stroke, depression, and so on), abnormal BMI (overweight, obesity, or underweight), handgrip strength, and unhealthy lifestyle factors such as smoking and drinking [10,17-22].

Both the initial lactate level at admission and subsequent lactate clearance serve as important predictors of short- and long-term mortality in patients with cirrhosis [34,40]. The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases [41] has highlighted that in patients with acute liver failure, an elevated lactate level (>4 mmol/L) is an independent risk factor for poor prognosis. In patients with chronic liver disease, lactate levels are strongly correlated with in-hospital mortality.

Specifically, the sample size was calculated via the Hsu (with best) multiple comparison test by the Power Analysis and Sample Size 14, with α=.05, power=0.80, the MDs between different groups=6.139, and the common SD within a group was assumed to be 7.16, resulting in a total sample size of 138 (46 in each group). Accounting for a 10% dropout rate, the final sample size was planned to be 153 participants.

This raises concerns about whether patients are correctly inhaling their medication over the long term [14,15]. In addition, lengthy and monotonous educational materials may lack appeal for patients with COPD [16]. In clinical practice, medical professionals provide health education manuals [17] and videos demonstrating proper inhaler techniques [18], which result in passive patient education.

For limb acupoints, 30-gauge needles (0.25 mm in diameter, 40 mm long) will be inserted to a depth of 10-15 mm. For head acupoints, 32-gauge needles (0.25 mm in diameter, 25 mm long) will be inserted to a depth of 3 mm. A specialized acupuncture technique will be used when needling the Tinggong point (SI19) on the impacted side. The patient will be instructed to slightly open their mouth, and a needle (0.25 mm in diameter, 40 mm long) will be inserted to a depth of approximately 15-25 mm.

In China, many patients with CLBP voluntarily seek Yijinjing, which has a long history as an ancient traditional Chinese exercise therapy that originated in 221 BC. It combines positive thinking with deep contemplation, fluid movement, deep breathing, and relaxation techniques to promote the circulation of vital energy (or Qi) throughout the body [14]. It is considered a multifaceted intervention that includes physical, mental, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive-behavioral aspects.

Although ADHD medications exhibit significant therapeutic effects [5], some guardians are reluctant to medicate their children due to potential long-term adverse developmental effects and varying effectiveness across different ADHD subtypes [6,7]. Furthermore, the core symptoms of ADHD, which include inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity, typically necessitate multiple therapeutic interventions to ensure effective management [8].
