Pocket Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Online for Young Children With Disruptive Behaviors: Open Trial

Pocket Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Online for Young Children With Disruptive Behaviors: Open Trial

No differences in behavioral outcomes have been found across m Health BPT programs serving racially minoritized families compared to programs serving predominantly White families [39]. Maintaining engagement with m Health BPT remains a challenge [40]. Research examining the sociodemographic characteristics of families who have accessed m Health BPT programs has yielded mixed findings regarding engagement.

A Nurse-Led Telemonitoring Approach in Diabetes During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Prospective Cohort Study

One hundred TSG participants were enrolled, with 91 completing 4 tele-surveillance visits over a 12-month follow-up, comprising the final TSG analysis set (Table 1). Participants were predominantly male (57%, 52/91), Caucasian (63%, 57/91), and had a mean age of 57 years. Overall, 48% (44/91) and 51% (46/91) of the participants had a diagnosis of T1 DM and T2 DM, respectively. One percent (1/91) were post-pancreatectomy.

A Digital Tool for Assessing Well-Being at the Workplace and in Personal Life: Development and Validation of the Quan Well-Being Index

We opted for a 2-week recall period as it helps minimize recall bias while still capturing meaningful patterns in recent experiences [44,45]. Furthermore, previous research has suggested that a 2-week recall period offers a practical balance between reducing recall bias and capturing a representative summary of well-being, rather than a momentary state [46,47].

Measuring Reliable Internet Connectivity Among Families with Children: Secondary Analysis of a US National Survey

Measuring Reliable Internet Connectivity Among Families with Children: Secondary Analysis of a US National Survey

About 23% of families in a US Midwestern urban area reported having reliable high-speed internet [7]. Among these households, Black or Hispanic parents were less likely to report reliable high-speed internet than White parents [7]. There is limited knowledge of the national prevalence of reliable internet connectivity among sociodemographically diverse households, leading to a limited understanding of family under-connectedness and under-participation in pediatric telehealth.

Effectiveness and Cost-Effectiveness of Using a Social Robot in Residential Care for Individuals With Challenges in Daily Structure and Planning: Protocol for a Multiple-Baseline Single Case Trial and Health Economic Evaluation

From a central location in the user’s home, with a default female voice, Tessa pronounces upcoming appointments or tasks from the user’s day program, with repeated reminders, if necessary. The content of these messages is programmed via a web app, that can be accessed from a smartphone, tablet, or PC, functioning like a simple digital calendar.

Advancing Real-World Evidence Through a Federated Health Data Network (EHDEN): Descriptive Study

Advancing Real-World Evidence Through a Federated Health Data Network (EHDEN): Descriptive Study

Any organization with access to a data source in Europe could apply to be included in the EHDEN network. In this context, a data source is defined as a distinct repository of health care-related data pertaining to a specific set of individuals. Except for the COVID-19 Rapid Collaboration Call, the 7 DP calls executed between September 2019 and October 2022 were aligned to similar timelines for DP identification, grant awarding, and initiation of data harmonization (Figure 1).

What Matters Most to Veterans When Deciding to Use Technology for Health: Cross-Sectional Analysis of a National Survey

What Matters Most to Veterans When Deciding to Use Technology for Health: Cross-Sectional Analysis of a National Survey

Data collection did not focus on a specific clinical setting. Veterans invited to the cohort were active users of VHA health care and technology users, defined as owning a cellular phone and having sent ≥5 secure messages through My Healthe Vet in the previous year [26,27]. VET-C surveys were collected between 2017-2018, 2019-2020, and 2021-2022.

Novel Virtual Reality Intervention for Stress Reduction Among Patients With or at Risk for Cardiovascular Disease: Mixed Methods Pilot Study

Novel Virtual Reality Intervention for Stress Reduction Among Patients With or at Risk for Cardiovascular Disease: Mixed Methods Pilot Study

Virtual reality (VR) is a technology that provides an immersive experience of a computer-generated, 3 D image or environment using a head-mounted display. VR has presented a low-risk way to interrupt the brain’s “default mode network” (DMN), which is a particular set of brain structures that underlie the negative mental states marked by worry, rumination, and stress [15-18].

Variability in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome: Internet Survey

Variability in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome: Internet Survey

Emerging evidence suggests a potential variation in the natural history of IC/BPS across racial and ethnic groups. For instance, Black individuals with IC/BPS report a greater degree of urinary urgency compared to their White counterparts and are more likely to be diagnosed at a younger age [19,20].
