Subsequently, both the systematic review by Lee et al [18] and the literature review by Battegazzorre et al [17] examined the technical characteristics of virtual learning applications aimed at improving communication skills. However, it is noteworthy that these reviews include studies published only up to December 2018 and May 2020, respectively, which highlights a gap in the literature regarding recent advancements in virtual simulation technologies.
