Treatment Without Cost? Effects and Side Effects of an Internet-Based Intervention for Depression: Randomized Controlled Trial

Fenski et al [19] found that experiencing negative effects with an internet-based intervention for depression predicts poor adherence, and Baumeister and colleagues [35] reported more program-related negative effects in non-responders among users of a digital self-help intervention for body-focused repetitive behaviors. Interestingly, in explorative analyses, age differences were found regarding reported negative effects.
