Soto et al [15] show that it is a widespread contributor to chronic liver disease globally. In Saudi Arabia, MASLD cases are projected to surge to more than 12 million by 2030 [16]. A study by Alswat et al [10] shows that by 2030, the estimated MASLD cases in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates would be 12,534,000 and 372,000, respectively. Lack of diagnosis denies patients crucial interventions. MASLD increases mortality risk, with significant economic burdens.

According to a recent scoping review by Meng et al [7], large language models (LLMs) have been actively explored in several areas of medicine, including clinical documentation support. The review, which analyzed over 550 studies, found that LLMs have the potential to reduce clinician workload and streamline routine writing tasks.

Use of Gamified Digital Tools in Daily Tasks of Health Care Workers: Scoping Review
Defined by Deterding et al [12] as “the incorporation of game design elements into nongame contexts,” gamification entails integrating game-like elements, such as points and leaderboards, into environments that traditionally do not fit within the conventional scope of gaming [13].

Bykov et al [14] validated a case-crossover–based method by successfully flagging known interactions in large US claims databases. Similarly, Leonard et al [15] demonstrated the ability of high-throughput pharmacoepidemiologic screening using a self-controlled case series design to confirm known DDI risks and identify novel potential interactions in real-world data.

These biomarkers were investigated by Hodgman et al [3], who took an approach combining their data with that of published gene expression and genome-wide association studies to uncover regulatory mechanisms that can explain the pathophysiology of preeclampsia. Given our prior observations, we hypothesize that the metabolites chosen for quantitative screening should be highly elevated in patients with preeclampsia, to a level that can explain the symptoms observed in the disease.
